This Light Tanto Hunting Knife is Truly Top quality knife. Great for Hunting, Fishing or for display. Being a recreation of the anchient Tanto blade it is both modern and a trip to the past. The full tang Blade screams of quality workmanship. It feels heavy and solid in your hand. In addition it’s balance feels perfect, and slightly blade heavy.

The Tanto was often designed as a short sword or knife depending on its use. When used in battle it was used with a heavily curved Tachi or the smaller Wakisashi. Above all the Tanto was mostly used for slashing. However could also be used in the thrusting style.

The steel is graded at 7CR13MOR and comes with an ebony wood handle.
