This Hammer of Thor Necklace is fresh out of Viking lore. The vikings believed in Thor son of Odin. his magical Hammer the Mjölnir was very common in the stories. Writing grand story’s of Thor exploits, they also made trinkets such as this necklace.

In Norse mythology, Mjölnir is the hammer of Thor, the Norse god associated with thunder. Mjölnir is depicted in Norse mythology as one of the most fearsome and powerful weapons in existence, capable of leveling mountains. The Short length of the handle was thought to be caused by a manufacturing mistake in the forges of the gods.

Made in the style of the vikings this necklace looks amazing on our stunning chains. The Pendant would also look good with a leather thong attached (not included).
