This Dark blade Tanto is Truly Top quality knife. Great for Hunting, Fishing or for display. Being a recreation of the anchient Tanto blade it is both modern and a trip to the past. The full tang Blade screams of quality workmanship. It feels heavy and solid in your hand. In addition it’s balance feels perfect, and slightly blade heavy.

The Tanto was often designed as a short sword or knife depending on its use. When used in battle it was used with a heavily curved Tachi or the smaller Wakisashi. Above all the Tanto was mostly used for slashing. However could also be used in the thrusting style.

Generally minimal care is required. However even though the blade is quality stainless steel it may pay to oil the blade once a year or so. You can use a quality knife oil otherwise olive oil will do.
