Stainless Steel swords are the best for display swords. The steel is very strong however is more brittle than carbon steel swords.

Stainless steel swords require little to no maintenance however and will always look their best. you can oil them if you like, often it is best to use standard olive oil to help protect them. However it is very rare to find rust on a stainless steel blade.
